Mediocrity At The U

False starts. Delay of game. Mental mistakes. Terrible decision-making. Sounds familiar? The Miami Hurricanes have continually made these mistakes the last 4 years. You just don’t see many playmakers on this team, the Ed Reeds, the Jonathan Vilmas, the Vince Wilforks. This team is the definition of mediocre. You think they take a step in the right direction and they’ll just you prove wrong the next week. How is a team that is finally getting good coaching from Golden and his staff STILL making the same fucking mistakes 10 weeks into the season? I’d understand if it were the opening game but 10 weeks in? Golden has gotten the most he can out of his group. This team has no fucking depth, not enough playmakers, and just don’t have that “IT” factor. Teams don’t fear coming down here to play Miami. Randy Shannon did a terrible job recruiting. We don’t even have to talk about the coaching or lack of coaching he did in his time down here. How does Jacory Harris still keep making bone-headed decisions like throwing it into double coverage to Tommy Streeter? Travis Benjamin, a senior, making the mistake of touching the ball and having to try to get the ball and turning the ball over. REALLY?? These are seniors making these idiotic mistakes. I can’t wait till the Northwestern era is over. These guys came in to bring the U back, to bring the U back into national relevancy. They have been nothing less but a major disappointment. NO ACC Championships, NO bowl wins, 1-3 vs. FSU, seasons of 6 losses. Losing rivalry games to the Gators and Notre Dame, and now a bowl ban for the seniors of the Northwestern Era. It's fitting since they were partly responsible for the Shapiro fiasco. This era has been a fucking disaster….but I do believe Golden will turn this program around in the positive direction. Golden will bring The U back once he starts getting his own player. I just hope he won’t leave before we become nationally relevant again.
